Variety description

The variety is a compact shrub with short rigid shoots. By 10 years of age, the plant reaches a height of 60–80 cm, and in adulthood, it grows to 0.9–1.2 m with a similar crown diameter.
The needles are juvenile, soft to the touch, and maintain a blue-gray color throughout the year; in the winter period, the appearance of copper shades is possible. The plant is characterized by high winter hardiness (USDA zone 4) and resistance to air pollution in urban conditions.
The Chamaecyparis is not prone to lodging due to the density of the crown, however, it requires protection from stagnant moisture and drying out of the roots. Used in landscape design for small gardens, rockeries, and container gardening.
