The variety has needle-like foliage characteristic of the species on thin stems. The plant possesses a compact habit, making it suitable for container cultivation and landscape decoration.

Flowering occurs from mid-spring to early summer. The flowers are pink in color; upon opening, the buds form bicolored inflorescences with a darker center. The variety prefers conditions with low air humidity and exhibits resistance to drought after rooting.
