Variety description

The plant forms a compact, erect bush 55–80 cm in height. Stems are characterized by strength and stability, not prone to lodging. Leaves are dark green, oval or lanceolate, with a serrated edge.
Flowers are pink in shade, similar in shape to snapdragon. The variety is winter-hardy and undemanding, resistant to diseases. The flowering period falls between August and October.
Chelone is moisture-loving, prefers sunny or semi-shaded locations with fertile, moist soil. Suitable for mixed borders, container cultivation, decorating pond banks, and use as cut flowers.
