The variety belongs to a group of chrysanthemums intended for commercial use, specifically for cut flower production. There is also a variation or related variety called Yellow Cassa.

In 1980s scientific research, the Cassa variety was used as a model object for studying the effect of transport conditions and water temperature on the shelf life of cut flowers. Detailed agronomic characteristics of the plant are not available in open sources.
