The Daymark variety belongs to the anemone-type chrysanthemum. The ray florets are white, while the disc florets are yellow or yellow-green and can transform into petaloids over time.

The plant is intended for commercial floriculture and cut flower production. A distinctive feature of the variety is its resistance to low temperatures. The variety served as the base form for breeding mutant varieties, including Cream Daymark and Yellow Daymark.
