The variety forms anemone-type inflorescences; in a number of descriptions, it is characterized as a needle-type or spray chrysanthemum with ray-like petals. Plant height varies from 0.4 to 0.7 m depending on growing conditions.
The plant has sturdy stems and is used primarily as a cut flower crop with good vase life of up to 10–12 days. It is also used for decorative landscaping of gardens and mixed borders.
Flowering occurs from August to October. Resistance to diseases is medium; the variety is characterized by increased winter hardiness corresponding to USDA zone 5, however, in some climatic conditions, it requires winter cover.
