The variety is the result of induced mutagenesis: initial cuttings of the Red Nero variety were exposed to X-ray radiation at a dose of 25 Gy. Outwardly, the variety differs from the parental type by suppressed growth and compact leaf and inflorescence sizes.

The plant forms semi-double orange-red flowers. Due to its dwarf form, the variety is specialized for pot cultivation, where pinching and the use of growth regulators are applied for bush formation.
