The Regoltime variety belongs to industrial varieties intended for cultivation in greenhouses. It is known in professional floriculture as a parental form used in breeding practice to obtain new varieties through natural mutations and in in vitro radiation mutagenesis experiments.
In scientific literature, the variety is considered in the context of studying resistance to stem pith necrosis caused by the bacterium Erwinia carotovora, showing lower susceptibility to the disease compared to a number of other varieties.
