The variety is characterized by an anemone-type inflorescence, with both ray and disc florets having a light purple or light violet hue. The ray florets are feather- or needle-like in shape.
The plant has an upright, spreading bush-type habit. The variety is distinguished by free branching and uniform flowering. In the Northern Hemisphere, natural flowering occurs in mid-October.
