Varieties of the Mega Time series are classified as pot chrysanthemums. The plants possess a marked capacity for free branching and uniform crown development. The appearance is characterized by the presence of single flowers and a light green disc.

There are various color variations and improved forms, such as Mega Time Rose, Mega Time Pure White, Mega Time Improved, Mega Time Gold and Mega Time White. When using growth regulators, for example daminozide, it is possible to reduce the height of the bush.
