In commercial catalogs and online stores, the «Sheik» chrysanthemum is described as a single-headed large-flowered variety. The characteristics of the plant include a stem height of up to 100 cm and an inflorescence diameter in the range of 10–15 cm. The flowering period falls in October.

On the market, there is also a possibility of confusion with the «Chic» variety, which is a spray chrysanthemum with white petals and a greenish center. Official breeding documentation and confirmed data on the originator of the «Sheik» variety are absent in open sources.
