The plant is a perennial ornamental shrub with thin shoots and narrow silver-gray leaves. A characteristic feature is the retention of the foliage shade when wet.
Small bright yellow inflorescences appear on the bushes in late summer. The variety is used as an ornamental plant for planting in flower beds, borders, balcony boxes, and containers.
