The plant is branched and pubescent, its height varies from 7 to 60 cm. The leaves have a diverse shape, from linear-lanceolate to spatulate.

The inflorescences are small capitula of golden-yellow color. Specialized data on the agronomic characteristics of the Silsun variety specifically are absent in open sources.
