The variety belongs to the desi type, which characterizes it as a small-seeded chickpea with a dark seed coat. Plants of this variety are sensitive to frost and the herbicide imazamox. In field conditions, cases of leaf chlorosis and plant wilting were observed.
Seeds of the variety are used in the food industry, in particular, for studying the properties of aquafaba, noting that the presence of tannins in the dark seed coat can affect the color of the final product.
