The Gravia variety is a food crop developed in Greece. Studies show that in the absence of disease epiphytotics, winter sowing of this variety allows for higher yields compared to spring sowing.

The plant is susceptible to Ascochyta blight and Sclerotinia rot, especially under high humidity conditions during autumn sowing. In years of intensive development of these diseases, the yield of winter sowing decreases to the level of spring sowing. Grain quality indicators, including protein content, vary depending on growing conditions.
