The plant belongs to the Desi type, reaching a height of 65–70 cm during the flowering period. The stem is covered with glandular hairs, flowers are of a mauve-pink shade. Seeds are of medium size, angular in shape, and have a black seed coat; typically, two seeds are formed in a pod. The thousand kernel weight is 230–250 g.

The variety is early-maturing with a full growing cycle of about 90 days. It possesses high drought tolerance due to a well-developed root system. It is resistant to lodging and infestation by bruchids. The protein content is 21–22%, carbohydrates — 55–56%, yield is estimated at 2–3 tons per hectare.

Due to the presence of glandular hairs on the stem, the green mass is not suitable for feeding livestock; however, the variety is recommended as a green manure. The variety is sensitive to herbicides.
