The variety belongs to the early-maturing plant group and is of the Desi type.
Under water deficit conditions, the chickpea demonstrates an ability for osmotic adaptation. During research, the accumulation of sucrose and organic acids, primarily malic and malonic, was noted, which allows the plant to regulate osmotic potential under stress.
