Variety description

The plant forms a rosette of large, slightly wavy green leaves. A light heart-shaped core forms in the center, the leaves of which have a yellowish edge. The height of the plant at maturity is about 40 cm.

The leaves have a moderately bitter taste, which is less pronounced in the inner blanched leaves. The variety is intended for cultivation in the open field, primarily in the autumn period.

In cooking, the variety is used both fresh for salads and thermally processed—boiled or stewed.
