The plant forms a compact rosette about 30 cm tall with a tightly filled center. The leaves are broad, thick, and crisp. The heart is easily subject to natural blanching, which makes it more tender and reduces bitterness.

The variety is intended for summer and autumn production, harvesting is possible 3 months after sowing. The plant is sensitive to cold and prefers protection at temperatures below 0°C. Used fresh for salads or in culinary processing.
