The variety belongs to the broad-leaved endive group (Cichorium endivia L. var. latifolia). Plant height varies within the range of 30–45 cm.

The variety shows a tendency to premature flowering (bolting) depending on daylight duration. In experiments with sowing in the first ten days of June, a decrease in yield caused by this feature was observed.
