The plant belongs to the curly endive (escarole) group and is distinguished by vertically positioned leaves of medium width, approximately 15 mm, with serrated edges. The variety does not form a dense head on its own, therefore a shading procedure is used to give the center of the rosette a lighter and more tender appearance.

The variety has a medium development cycle and is characterized by good cold resistance. Its leaves have a crunchy texture and a mild flavor with a characteristic slight bitterness, making them suitable for use in fresh salads and as side dishes.
