Variety description

The variety is a hybrid form, presumably originating from a cross between Cistus salviifolius and Cistus populifolius. The plant forms a compact mounded crown from 80 to 120 cm in height. The elliptical or ovate leaves have a greyish-green center and a golden-yellow border; young shoots are often reddish in color.
Flowering occurs in late spring and summer. The white cup-shaped flowers are short-lived, but their mass appearance ensures aesthetic appeal over a long period. The variety possesses high resistance to drought, wind, heat, soil salinity, and a number of pests.
The plant is used in landscape design for creating rock gardens, gravel beds, and container compositions. It is valued for maintaining the aesthetic appeal of its foliage throughout the entire year.
