A vining plant whose fruits have an elongated shape and reach a weight of 4 to 8 kg. The rind of the fruit is matte, with a marbled pattern or silvery spots; the pulp is white or white-greenish in color. A distinctive varietal trait is the green-colored seeds.

A traditional variety intended exclusively for culinary use. In temperate climates, sowing is carried out from April to June, and harvesting is performed from August to October. Used as a reference variety when describing the morphological traits of the species.
