The plant is vigorous, forming long vines up to 3.5–4.5 meters. The variety is open-pollinated, also known under the names Cannonball and Florida Giant. The ripening period is 90–95 days from emergence.

The fruits have a nearly round or round-oval shape. The rind is thick and firm, the flesh is bright red, juicy and crisp, and contains large grey-black seeds. The variety shows resistance to drought, sunburn, and fruit cracking.

The variety is for table use, intended for fresh consumption. After harvest, the fruits can maintain their quality for 2–3 weeks.
