The variety belongs to the personal watermelon category. The average fruit weight is about 1.3–1.4 kg. The fruits are characterized by high taste qualities, consistently high sugar content, and a very thin rind.

In the UPOV international classification, this variety is used as a reference for describing the 'thickness of pericarp' trait, as it possesses a very thin pericarp. The hybrid is specialized genetic material rather than a widely distributed commercial variety.
