The plant is vigorous, long-vined, and densely foliated. Fruits have an elongated-cylindrical shape and a light green ("gray") rind color, which protects them from overheating. The rind is thick, up to 20 mm, and hard. The flesh is bright red or intensely pink, crisp, with a sugar content of 10–11%.

The period from emergence to harvest is 70 to 100 days. Fruit weight varies from 10 to 18 kg. The variety has resistance to Fusarium wilt and anthracnose. The fruits are characterized by high keeping quality, maintaining flavor for 2–2.5 months after harvest, and are suitable for transportation.

The variety is open-pollinated and is often used in breeding work to create new hybrids.
