Pata Negra F1 is an early-ripening hybrid with a vegetation period of 75–80 days. The fruits have a round shape and a solid dark green rind color without distinct stripes. Fruit weight varies from 3 to 8 kg; the flesh is characterized by a bright red color, juiciness, crispy texture, and sweetness.

The hybrid possesses resistance to Fusarium and high adaptability to various growing conditions. It is suitable for open field and film greenhouses. In professional agronomy, it is often used as a pollinator variety for triploid seedless watermelons due to its long flowering period and abundant pollen production.
