Pekin F1 is a triploid hybrid with a maturity period of 70–75 days. The plant possesses a vigorous leaf apparatus and a well-developed root system, and is distinguished by high plasticity and adaptability to various growing conditions.

The fruits have a round shape, a weight of 3 to 6 kg, and a "tiger" type coloration with dark green stripes on a light background. The flesh is dense, juicy, bright yellow in color, and possesses a pronounced sweet taste.

The crop is grown by the transplant method in open field. To obtain a harvest, the presence of pollinator plants is necessary, which should account for 25–30% of the total planting area. The recommended density is from 5.5 to 7 thousand plants per hectare. The variety exhibits medium resistance to Fusarium wilt.
