The watermelon variety Perseida belongs to the seedless hybrid segment with a black rind color. The fruits possess high Brix sugar content levels and have a saturated red flesh color.

The rind characteristics of the variety provide the fruits with increased keeping quality and a long shelf life after harvest. The hybrid is characterized by good yield and fruit weight indicators, and also demonstrates adaptability to various production conditions.
