The variety is a triploid hybrid developed for the commercial production of seedless watermelons. The fruit is characterized by a round shape, light-green rind color, and an average weight in the range of 4–5 kg.
The plant possesses photoprotective capacity, allowing it to adapt to high levels of solar radiation. In agronomic practice, the variety was used in experiments involving grafting onto Cucurbita maxima × Cucurbita moschata hybrids to control soil-borne pathogens, including Fusarium.
Flesh quality, including color intensity and sugar levels, depended on growing conditions. The application of growth regulators, such as CPPU, to stimulate fruit set could lead to a reduction in the taste and commercial characteristics of the produce.
