The early-maturing hybrid Sirius matures approximately 74 days after transplanting. It belongs to the seedless watermelon type with striped rind coloration; the fruits are spherical and characterized as personal-sized, medium-large in size.

The plant exhibits strong vigor. The fruit flesh is red, the rind has medium thickness, and small or medium underdeveloped seeds are present. Like other triploid hybrids, the variety requires the planting of a pollinator variety for full yield formation.

The hybrid possesses intermediate resistance to Fusarium wilt caused by the first race of the pathogen. The variety was obtained as a result of a breeding program to create seedless forms by crossing diploid and tetraploid parental lines.
