Diploid watermelon variety Yarden forms oval-shaped fruits weighing from 8 to 12 kg. Externally, the fruits are colored medium-green with characteristic dark green stripes. The flesh is dense, with a rich red shade.

The primary economic purpose of this variety is its use as a pollinator for triploid seedless watermelons. The variety is characterized by good yield and high uniformity of fruits.
