Variety description

The variety is part of the Femminello lemon group, which consists of evergreen, highly branched trees 3 to 6 meters in height. The plants have glossy elliptical leaves, and young shoots often have a reddish hue. The fruits are distinguished by the absence of seeds, the presence of a characteristic peak at the apex, pale yellow rind, and acidic taste.

The plant is sensitive to strong winds and low temperatures: if the thermometer drops to -4...-5 °C, leaf loss is possible, and with more severe frosts, damage to the bark may occur. The variety is a traditional Italian clone and is used in commercial and amateur gardening as a fruit crop.
