The tree forms a dense crown, fruits are medium or large in size, round in shape, sometimes slightly flattened. The peel has a dark orange color and a medium-rough texture. The orange flesh is distinguished by high juiciness, pleasant aroma, and the ability to be easily separated into segments.
The variety belongs to mid-season, fruit ripening occurs from December to February. It is characterized by a good balance of sugar and acid, which is maintained for a long time while the fruits remain on the branches. The standard form of the variety has seeds; an improved breeding form, DaisySL, was developed to be seedless.
Economic characteristics include the tree's tendency towards alternate bearing, in which yield fluctuates significantly from year to year. Among the physiological disadvantages are the fruit's tendency to crack and the possibility of flesh granulation with excessive nitrogen nutrition or in large-sized fruits.
