Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety Juuli is an herbaceous hybrid of Clematis integrifolia. The plant does not have tendrils for self-climbing, therefore it requires tying up or cultivation as a groundcover shrub, leaning on other plants. The height of the shoots is from 1 to 2.2 meters.

Flowers with a diameter of 7–12 cm have a star-shaped semi-nodding form. Their color changes from purple-blue at the beginning of flowering to blue with a lilac-pink stripe on the petals; anthers are golden on white filaments. The variety belongs to pruning group 3, is characterized by high winter hardiness and suitability for cutting.
