Variety description

The variety is a sport of the large-flowered Clematis 'The President' and belongs to the early large-flowered hybrid group. The plant forms large double or semi-double flowers with a diameter of 10–15 cm, which are directed upwards.
The 6–8 sepals are broadly elliptical in shape, have wavy edges, and overlap each other. Their color is saturated purple-blue, with a lighter stripe in the center. The variety has the potential for use as a cut flower crop for bouquets.
