The variety belongs to the group of early large-flowered clematis, reaching a height of 2.0–2.5 m. The flowers are star-shaped with a diameter of 15–20 cm, sepals are satin-white with a crimson-pink margin and pink tips, stamens are also pink.

The plant belongs to pruning group 2. Flowering occurs in two waves: abundant in late May – June on the previous year's shoots and more modest in August – September on the current year's shoots. Winter hardiness corresponds to USDA zones 4–9.
