The deciduous vine reaches a height of 2.5–3.5 meters. The foliage is pinnate, consisting of rounded, ovate, or lobed leaflets. The urn-shaped flowers with a diameter of 6–8 cm have a deep red-pink color, while the edges of the petals may lighten.
The plant belongs to pruning group 3, which requires hard pruning of the shoots in late winter or early spring. The cultivar is winter-hardy, prefers well-drained soils, and does not tolerate stagnant moisture in winter. The flowers are suitable for cutting and remain fresh in water for up to 10 days.
The cultivar is used for vertical gardening of walls, fences, pergolas, and arches, and is also suitable for growing in containers.
