Variety description

The plant reaches a height of 1.2–1.5 m and is intended exclusively for use in landscape design. It prefers sunny areas or partial shade, requires abundant watering, and can grow as a standard garden crop or in aquatic conditions.
The leaf blades have a pronounced wrinkled texture and a velvety surface, with coloring ranging from black to grayish-black, while displaying an iridescent effect in the sun. The petioles are also colored in a rich black.
The variety has a frost resistance of up to -7…-8°C. In winter, the above-ground part of the plant dies back, after which full regeneration occurs in the spring.
