Variety description

The evergreen plant forms multiple stems and reaches a height of 1.2–1.5 m, in some conditions up to 2.4 m. Leaves are long, narrow, strap-like, and arching. At maturity, the variety may produce paniculate inflorescences with creamy-white fragrant flowers, followed by red berries.

The plant is suitable for cultivation in USDA zones 9–11, with cold hardiness limited to temperatures down to -9°C. The variety is relatively drought-tolerant once established and resistant to wind. It is used in landscape design for creating accent compositions, border plantings, and for container growing.

The plant is toxic to pets if leaves are ingested.
