Variety description

The variety is a perennial herbaceous plant with erect stems and narrow, needle-like leaves. The flowers have the pink coloration characteristic of the species with a yellow center. The plant height of the species Coreopsis rosea typically ranges from 10–30 cm to 60 cm.

The species prefers sunny locations and sufficiently moist, but well-drained soils. Unlike many other Coreopsis species, it tolerates drought poorly and requires constant soil moisture. It is used in ornamental gardening in mixed borders, group plantings, and containers.
