Variety description

The variety forms a compact, dense bush with dark green foliage. The double flowers have a "ruffled" shape and a saturated yellow hue. The plant height varies from 25 to 60 cm depending on growing conditions.

Plants of the 'Leading Lady' series begin to bloom from late spring or early summer and retain their ornamental quality until frost. The flowers are sterile, which prevents seed set and stimulates continuous flowering without the necessity of deadheading.

The variety possesses high resistance to powdery mildew and tolerates heat, humidity, and various soil types well, provided there is drainage. Winter hardiness corresponds to zone 4a. When planted in sunny areas without excessive fertilization, the plant holds its shape well and does not lodge.

The plant is used in borders, mixed borders, mass plantings, and container gardening, and is also suitable for cut flowers. The variety attracts butterflies and is considered low-maintenance.
