Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety forms a compact clump 60–66 cm tall and 60–80 cm wide, consisting of purple stems and narrow linear foliage. Inflorescences up to 5 cm in diameter have butter-yellow petals with a strawberry center in summer, while they acquire a pinkish hue in cool weather. Flowering lasts from June to September.

The plant is resistant to heat, humidity, and moderate drought; USDA hardiness zones 6–10. The variety is sterile and does not self-seed. Stems may experience lodging during excessive rainfall, so pruning in mid-to-late summer is recommended to maintain the shape of the clump and stimulate repeat flowering.

The variety is susceptible to root rot in cases of waterlogging and may also suffer from Botrytis, powdery mildew, and leaf spots. It is used in landscape design for borders, edging, and in mixed flower beds; it attracts pollinators.
