The plant has hollow ribbed stems up to 80 cm tall. The root system includes adventitious rhizomes spreading up to 200 cm from the mother plant. Leaves are imparipinnate, colored from green to dark green. Flowers are pink or pinkish-white in shade, the fruit is a loment.

The variety possesses nitrogen fixation ability and is undemanding to growing conditions. Used in perennial grass mixtures for turfing, as well as for hay, green fodder, and pastures. Applied for slope stabilization due to the development of a powerful root system.
