Lavi gal
ActiveCucumis melo L. · Melon
HAZERA SEEDS BV
10 August 2026
The plant is an annual crop with long, vigorous, creeping stems. The fruits can reach 1 meter in length, have a light green surface with pronounced longitudinal furrows, and are often curved in shape.
At a young age, the flesh of the fruits is crispy and juicy, without sweetness. When fully ripe, it can become orange and fragrant. The period from germination to harvest is 70–75 days; fruiting is prolonged.
The crop is heat-loving and prefers sunny locations. The fruits have a short shelf life, which limits their transportability.
