The plant belongs to the cantaloupe group; it is a vining plant with moderate vigor and a main vine length of 1.5–2 meters. The growing period is from 70 to 90 days after transplanting.
Fruits are round or slightly flattened, weighing 0.6–1.5 kg, and covered with gray-green skin with dark stripes, which turns a beige or yellowish shade upon ripening. The flesh is intensely orange, juicy, with a sugar content of 15–16% and a characteristic musky or vanilla aroma.
The variety is demanding of heat and sunlight; in cool climates, cultivation in greenhouses is recommended. The fruits have low keeping quality and are sensitive to transport due to their thin skin, and are therefore intended primarily for local consumption.
