Two different hybrids appeared under the name Chando. The first (XP 762) belongs to the Charentais type, characterized by small fruit size and resistance to Fusarium wilt and powdery mildew.
The second variant (XPH 9042) belongs to the Galia type. It is an early hybrid with fruits weighing about 1.3–1.4 kg, having a yellow rind with sparse netting and green flesh with a high sugar content.
