The variety is intended for cultivation both in the open field and in protected conditions. The plant is characterized by an andromonoecious type of inflorescence. The variety was bred for adaptation to the specific climatic and soil conditions of southern Oltenia.
The medium-sized fruits are distinguished by a round shape. As they ripen, the dark gray-green surface of the fruit acquires an intense yellow color with small dots. The thin skin covers white flesh 3–4 cm thick. The seeds have an elongated pointed shape and a whitish color.
The variety demonstrates a medium shelf life of the produce. In scientific literature, it is found under the code name L-D 14.
