The Dinero rootstock is used for grafting cultivated melon varieties to improve the health of the scion plant. It possesses a high level of resistance to Fusarium wilt, including races 0, 1, and 2, and is often used as a benchmark for resistance during scientific trials.
This material is characterized by good compatibility with various scions, resistance to stress conditions, and the ability to maintain the flavor qualities of the scion fruit. Its use does not have a negative impact on fruit size.
Dinero is a technical material for professional agrotechnologies and is not intended for cultivation as an independent melon variety or hybrid for fruit production.
