The plant is of medium growth type with a short growing season. The fruits have an oblate-spherical shape with pronounced ribbing and are covered with a thick silvery-yellow rind with a slight corky-type reticulation. The flesh is orange-yellow.
The variety is demanding of irrigation during periods of germination, active shoot growth, and fruit formation. Harvesting is carried out as the characteristic aroma appears and the peduncle begins to detach. Due to specific features of the genotype, the variety is often used in in vitro biotechnological research.
